Five games to go (incl. this one) I wasn't very impressed with what I saw against the canucks, so I'm hoping (praying) we'll do better against the hard-hitting canucks.

1. Brunette. Assists: Zidlicky, Bergeron ( First time we scored on a power play against flames this season 1-16)
2. Clutterbuck. Assists: Belanger, Schultz
3. Nolan. Assists: Miettinen, Veilleux

Impressed with: John Scott- Big, but he gets shots on goal, and is a hard-hitting defensemen. Miika Kiprusoff- 2nd powerplay he was solid in goal.

Laughing at: Shepp's constant yearn for a fight :) Mikko's faceoff head nod.

What??!! Gaby- MORE SHOOTING! Take chances! Less passing. Not impressed with Shepp's 1st period.

End of 1st period thoughts: The wild have been impressive, hard hitting, and taking shots for the most part. So far MUCH improved over the Tuesday Vancouver game.
