In Like.....Out With The Wind....

4-2. Four games to two. That will be hanging over the Minnesota Wild's Players, Fans, Coaches, and Organization for a while. (Or at least until the next season starts) Like last year against
Jean-Sebastien Giguere, the wild were unable to get inside the Colorado Avs goalies head. He was remarkable, honestly if Backstrom had played that well in the 5-1 loss, I might have been here writing about how the Wild were going to beat the Red Wings. Instead of complaining.
Now don't get me wrong, I really love the Wild and it makes me sad to see the ousted in the first round again. I just, well I have to admit I expected a bit more from them. They are a very talented team, who will get that Stanley Cup. Just not this year:(

Favre Retiring

Being a die-hard Broncos fan who lives in Minnesota I can honestly tell you the Green Bay Packers are my least favorite team (next to the Chargers)
But at the news of Brett Favre's retirement, I feel sad. And not a fake a sad, a real this-is-the-end-of-something-great sad. Brett Favre was a great player and person on and off the field. The NFL needs more people of character like him. He will be sorely missed.

Message To The Broncos Scouts:)

PLEASE...PLEASE....PLEASE....TRADE YOUR NUMBER 12 DRAFT PICK DOWN. TO THE RAMS FOR THEIR NUMBER 2. PLEASE.

Here is my reasoning:

~Our defense was pretty porous last season
~With the number 2 pick we could draft: GLEN DORSEY! (might have spelled that wrong:)
~We need a Defensive Tackle and he is pretty much amazing.

But hey this is just my opinion.

(*^A Few Morsels...*^)

Okay so my Father and I watched Motorcross today....wow ()_() Dude thats exciting! Long Story-Short: Chad Reed was leading for 10 or so of the 20 laps.....when he FALLS down! He gets passed by 3 or 4 guys and now were thinking okay its over.... theres no way he can catch up. Yep. Then he does the unthinkable. He Fights Back. And ends up winning.

Now for my original intent-The Story Of How I Became A Broncos Fan (Its Real Short)

I was 5. I was watching the 97' Broncos^Packers Super Bowl. Thats where it all started, I became a fan that day. And have never looked back. I guess I'm what you would call a die-hard fan. Obsessive even:) I love my team and theres no changing that.

(Please accept my apologie for all the grammatical errors, like the sentences which aren't really sentences:)

Ready To Drop My Gloves....

Okay so last night I watched the Wild lose to the Detroit Red Wings. The Wild had the lead (2-1) until there was 1 min and 15 seconds left in the third period! Okay, so the Wild fail to score and the game goes to overtime. Well guess what? Backstrom who was wonderful all night (had some spectacular saves!) They score on him. Game Over. *Sniff* Stupid Red Wings. What is a red wing anyway?

Super Bowl 08........Wow......0_0

Wow, I cannot believe New England lost. Wait yes I can, with the exception of a few ( Moss and Welker) The Pats' played a very bad game, offensively and defensively. It became quite obvious as the game progressed that Tom's 'Not Injured' Foot was quite the opposite. His bad foot affected his play. Now I'm not saying thats why they lost, there were alot of other factors contributing.

I went to a party @ my church (don't tell the multi-billion dollar NFL) and was one of a whopping 4 people (out of 30) rooting for the pats' to go 19-0....

Well it's fine, I guess, I mean hey now the media will stop comparing Eli to Peyton. FINALLY.

Besides Tom Terrific's already got 3 rings. (which I guess isn't good enough). So my Sister was telling me how Tom ran off the field WITHOUT congratulation Eli! What a classless man. Even Bill shook Coughlin's hand. SO why couldn't Brady own up and do the same?

Super Bowl 2008~*Sigh*~

Well here we are back at the big game, I feel like it was just yesterday Peyton was grinning and holding the Lombardi. Wow time flies. Once again it was another one of those years, you know when you tell everyone your team will make it to the big game, by beating their team in the playoffs:) Well my team beat their team, just not in the playoffs. (And if your wondering I'm a Broncos fan who lives in MN, so my team and theirs is pretty obvious) As they say theres always next year, unless your incredibly impatient person who when football ends is sad. At least until baseball. Which I was excited for until the Twins traded Johan.....kinda killed the excitement. Man we're gonna suck this year. Oh well always next year:)
